About Us

Our story

Established in 1977 as a decorating company for the surrounding areas of herts, beds and bucks. I was doing very well by the early 80’s, the clientel I was dealing with didnt just want a ‘decorator’ they wanted a bricklayer, plasterer, electrician, plumber and more but only wanted to employ one company. So here Pete Hart Builders started to form.

By the mid 80’s I had formed a building company located in Great Portland Mews South, London West One. After a number of years we relocated to Bedfordshire and have never looked back since.

With my children grown up, I have a family run business which has grown from strength to strength. To date we employ various tradesmen that we have worked with for over 15 years. Our work is mostly by reccomendation and we are registered with the local council. We are also a prefered building company with premier guarantee with any of our new build projects.
